About the Shows

Clay and the Sugarsaurus Rex is about Clay the cave boy and Sabey his pet saber tooth tiger kitten. Join them as they go on an adventure of a lifetime learning how to keep their smiles healthy by brushing twice a day, visiting the dentist regularly, eating healthy foods and avoiding the Sugarsaurus Rex. The show is just right for preschoolers, TK’ers, Kindergarteners and First graders.

In The Adventures of Sir Enamel join Knight Errant Sir Enamel as he battles to protect Johnny's teeth and defeat King Sugar Bug and his Minions. This show is just right for your K-4th graders.

This program is free for schools in the following counties: Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Amador and Placer. (For schools outside of these counties the fee is $350.)

How much does this cost?

It is free for schools in the following counties: Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Amador and Placer counties. The Sacramento District Dental Society, the Sacramento District Dental Foundation and Sutter Health are paying for these.

All of our students and their families might not be able to watch at the same time. Can they view a recording after the live-streamed event?

Yes. After the live-stream performance we will provide you with a link to a recording of the personalized performance video that can be viewed by your students and their families at any time for the rest of the school year.

We are concerned about having our students watch a live-streamed assembly program on the internet.

We understand. You can always opt for the on-demand pre-recorded version which you can review before sharing with your students and their families.

What are you doing to keep our students safe in the online environment?

We are following strict guidelines to make sure students are protected while they enjoy our assembly program. Zoom Webinar allows for strict control of participants and restricts chat, screen-share and other features. We are also employing the latest child safety protocols for online viewing on the platforms we are currently using.

What is the recommended age for this show?

Clay and the Sugarsarus Rex is recommended for Pre-k through 1st graders. The Adventures of Sir Enamel is recommended for k-4th graders.

How long is the show?

The show runs around 25-30 minutes.

What does this show teach?

Our entertaining, interactive show teaches the basics of proper dental health including brushing your teeth twice a day, avoiding sweets, eating healthy foods and visiting the dentist regularly.

How soon should we book a presentation?

We are contacting thousands of schools across California, but we can only accommodate a select number. It's best to book as soon as possible.

Are you doing In-Person Presentations?

We are doing limited in-person presentations. If your site is allowing on-site assemblies please contact us to discuss an in-person performance.

Who are you guys?

Puppet Art Theater Company has been entertaining children for over 24 years. Experts in developing entertaining programs with an educational message, we visit hundreds of schools each year with their award winning productions. “Tooth Fairy Theater” is our latest educational program that teaches dental health to preschoolers and kindergarteners through a variety of stories.  The Sacramento District Dental Society is the Official Sponsor for our tour through Northern California.
